We are currently seeking a creative and engaging Content Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Alton. This newly created role comes at an exciting time where they are about to revamp market positioning, messaging, and overall brand feel. Working alongside their Marketing Co-ordinator, Marketing Assistant, Creative Lead/Graphic Designer, sales teams, and the wider business, our client are looking someone to really own and deliver the content strategy and new brand positioning, to be hands-on in terms of copywriting, video production, social media content and owning the ‘words’ they use to bring to life their brand. Key duties and responsibilities: Brand refresh- You will be responsible for leading on this, ensuring they stand out in the market and the audience is clear on what the brand stands for and how they should think and feel about the business. Tone of voice- We need you to be the go-to advocate for how they position themselves consistently and competitively in the market through a clear and consistent tone of voice. Content plan- Our client sell across B2B markets and the primary audience is the key decision maker at the end-user business – some of the largest organizations in the market. You will help introduce a highly targeted approach, ensuring you carefully nurture our key targets and account manage our key customers. Content creation- It is critical that you enjoy the hands-on creation of multi-channel content including copywriting, video creation, account-based marketing content, collateral, and others. Campaign creation- Making sure the campaign content is highly targeted and tells a story about the organization, products, sustainability, and innovation in a joined-up way. Social media content- LinkedIn is our client’s primary social media channel but there is huge potential for our physical products to be showcased more visually on Instagram and others. You would be responsible for our social media strategy and the program of content, ensuring the content joins up with all the other channels and overall brand positioning. SEO – You will also be responsible for ensuring the new site is fully SEO optimized and managing the ongoing SEO activity for future content. Return on investment- Whilst we need you to be highly creative, great with words, and experienced across multi-channel content, we also need to you to constantly be thinking about return. We need to see the content showing a direct impact on lead generation and ultimately sales revenue – a great opportunity to make a real difference across a highly ambitious organization.
