We are now seeking a Director of Digital Marketing who will report directly to our Chief Marketing Officer. This is a global role based in our corporate HQ. The Director of Digital Marketing will be charged with taking responsibility for optimising all digital channels, both owned and paid, in order to capture and create demand that drives revenue growth.

They will act as part of the senior leadership team within our Marketing org, with the remit to build effective working relationships across the business, partnering, influencing and supporting key decisions geared towards driving revenue expansions across both our Partner and Direct channels 

The Role – what you’ll do as our Director of Digital Marketing

  • Design and lead the implementation of a digital marketing strategy that drives growth by using paid and owned digital channels to grow new user acquisition and activation in a scalable and efficient way. 
  • Partner closely with cross functional teams including Growth, Product, Brand & Content and Campaigns to define and execute digital programs that drive the self-service customer journey.
  • Drive the performance of dext.com through effective SEO and conversion rate optimisation strategy to increase the number of quality free trialists that convert to paying customers.
  • Own a sizeable paid media budget and be accountable for ensuring ROI and impact across paid channels. 
  • Report on key results to the executive team on a recurring basis demonstrating the impact of digital strategies on key business performance indicators and highlighting optimization strategies.
  • Lead rapid experimentation of new channels, and approaches.
  • Lead a team of performance marketers to drive marketing strategy, campaign ideation, execution, and analysis, continually raising the bar on technical and analytical skills
  • Be an industry thought leader and work closely with Marketing operations to ensure that we are leveraging the latest technologies to drive acquisition in a scalable way.

About you – what we are looking for:

  • +10 years relevant work experience from a B2B self-serve tech company.
  • Proven previous experience in driving significant growth through digital channels.
  • Strong marketing instincts and proven track record of shaping and executing on user growth strategies. 
  • Deep analytics background and a high degree of proficiency with rigorous data tools
  • Ability to synthesise, analyse and interpret data (including KPI reports) and transfer into actionable steps
  • Manage direct teams as well as cross-functional teams, with a proven track record of performance optimization
  • Strong leadership presence; serves as a senior leader within a company, influential with a diverse group of stakeholders and can create buy-in 
  • Deep understanding of Marketing Technology and media platforms 
  • Highly collaborative approach used to working in matrix environments and partnering with others to get things done and achieve impact.
