As we continue to expand globally, we’re seeking a dynamic Fractional B2B Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join our team.

Role Overview:

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the Fractional B2B CMO will be instrumental in driving our overall marketing strategy, overseeing its execution, and ensuring its alignment with our business objectives. This role is pivotal in managing our inbound and outbound marketing efforts, crafting our Go-To-Market (GTM) plan, curating content marketing initiatives, orchestrating events, and optimizing our tech stack, including HubSpot and other essential tools.

This is a fractional role with an expectation to work 15-20 hours per week. Additionally, we’re only looking for candidates located in North America.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives. Collaborate closely with the CRO and other key stakeholders to drive results. Fully accountable for the strategic direction and success of business results.
  2. Inbound and Outbound Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of effective inbound and outbound marketing strategies to generate high-quality leads and drive revenue growth.
  3. GTM Plan: Craft and execute a robust Go-To-Market plan for new product launches, campaigns, and initiatives, ensuring maximum market penetration and customer acquisition.
  4. Content Marketing: Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging content across various channels to attract, engage, and nurture leads throughout the buyer’s journey.
  5. Events Management: Strategize, plan, and execute impactful events, both virtual and in-person, to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and foster meaningful connections with our target audience.
  6. Technology Optimization: Optimize our marketing technology stack, including HubSpot and other tools, to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and drive performance.
  7. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the fractional events planner and fractional account-based marketer, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives and goals.
  8. Data-Driven Approach: Utilize data analytics and insights to track key performance metrics, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing ROI.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in a senior marketing leadership role, preferably within the e-commerce or marketing agency space.
  • Expertise in developing and executing B2B marketing strategies, including inbound and outbound tactics, GTM planning, content marketing, and events management.
  • Strong proficiency in marketing automation platforms, particularly HubSpot, and other relevant tools and technologies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of inspiring and guiding cross-functional teams to achieve success.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant certifications preferred.
