A DAY IN A LIFE
As a start-up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

  • Lead in brainstorming and crafting Demand Generation playbooks, designed to captivate and resonate with target audiences in both regional and local markets.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team to refine and implement Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Continuously innovate and apply creative thinking to optimize strategies, aiming to impress and engage the target audience in the most inventive and unexpected ways.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for collaboration with external departments, including regional and local market stakeholders, Operations, and the Product team.
  • Work closely with the marketing team, including Content Marketing, Brand, PR & Communications, ensuring integrated marketing efforts and seamless lead transition.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to inform and shape campaign development.
  • Analyse ABM campaign data for ongoing enhancements and strategic improvements.
  • Proactively plan future ABM initiatives, staying ahead of market trends and adapting to changes.
  • Collaborate on tailoring marketing playbooks for specific regional markets to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

Requirements

SKILLS
These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:

  • Language Skills: High proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in Demand Generation and Market Research: Demonstrated experience in these areas, with a focus on B2B marketing.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with key marketing tools and platforms, such as CRM software, email marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Strong ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and other marketing branches.
  • Strategic Planning: Proven skills in strategic thinking and planning, essential for developing effective marketing strategies.
  • Sales Process Understanding: Basic knowledge of sales processes and cycles, to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.
  • Detail-Oriented and Meticulous: Focus on details is crucial, ensuring accuracy and quality in all marketing initiatives.
  • Independence: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player.

These are skills that are ‘nice-to-have’ and will make you stand out in the job application:

  • Specific Marketing Channel Experience: Experience with specific marketing channels such as social media, SEO, SEM, or content marketing.
  • Sales Process Understanding: Basic knowledge of sales processes and cycles, to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, with experience using data analysis tools and techniques to inform marketing decisions.
  • ABM Strategy Execution: Proficiency in executing Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, being a people person and an effective team player.
  • Resourcefulness: Ability to identify and creatively solve challenges, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in problem-solving.
