Job Description


The Performance Manager role will play a key part in being the bridge between strategy and sales teams, helping Visualsoft continue to drive growth from new business across the marketing space. The focus of the role will be on providing new business support to the sales teams that is focussed on auditing, analysing and forecasting client suitability for services provided by Visualsoft.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Auditing

  • Audit Google, Meta and wider digital client accounts when they have approached Visualsoft for a new business opportunity 
  • Lead on the facilitation of access requests from the prospects 
  • Collect clear briefs and targets for us to work towards in the pitch

New Business Collateral

  • Create new business decks, audit summaries and other collateral in line with the pitch requirements 
  • Coordinate wider channel experts to deliver work in a timely manner in line with the pitch brief

Analysis & forecasting on the clients business

  • You should be able to assess current performance through analytics and track performance against current targets
  • Using the status quo as a base, you will be able to realistically forecast what is achievable in line with the strategy presented

Pitch Delivery

  • When required, lead on the delivery of pitch material to prospective clients, presenting core channels within your remit of expertise


  • Be a collaborative partner with the sales team to get them what they need to to deliver a pitch to the prospect
  • Manage internal stakeholders to deliver additional pitch collateral when required
  • Follow the strategy leads guidance on the overall wider pitch vision in your response


  • Bring new ideas to the forefront of your responses suggesting innovative solutions 
  • Be the voice for new approaches to digital excellence



  • Hands on experience in at least 2 digital marketing channel
  • Experience in a similar role where cross channel, data led or audience led strategy was key
  • Previous client facing agency experience
  • Experience developing  client strategies in line with an agency proposition & frameworks
  • Ability to translate client objectives into clear strategic approaches
  • Sales and new business experience
  • Confident in client facing scenarios
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • A ‘can do’ attitude at all times.
  • A team player who can communicate with different departments and team members.
  • Troubleshooter and problem solver
  • Willingness to learn new approaches & digital skills
  • An oracle of digital knowledge in keeping with the industry, well read on what other competitors are doing and testing. Driving the latest ideas and testing to develop the main Visualsoft framework. Challenge the norm and come up with innovative solutions to elevate channel performance.
  • Outline, develop and champion new and innovative ways of performance, both internal and external to enhance the delivery from VS. Be able to speak in an informed manner on developments across the business, not just your specialism.
  • Displayed and proven use of [Client Margin, Client Revenue, Client costs, Client Overheads, Direct ROI, Overall ROI, Cross Channel attribution, displayed cross channel collab..] to create efficiencies for multiple clients influencing the teams strategy overall.


  • Experience in using Google Analytics.
  • Previous experience in ecommerce environments
  • Confident with technical aspects of digital marketing such as feed management & GTM
