About the role

We are looking for a Retail Account Manager to join our successful team at Clear Channel, one of the UK’s leading OOH media owners. This is a unique hybrid role within the Retail team that requires the successful candidate to be comfortable in both an Agency Sales and Trading environment.

The role will report into a Retail Group Head in Trading and work with the wider team to deliver against Quarterly Sales targets. As a Retail Account Manager you’ll be an expert in OOH Retail Media formats, leading the Malls proposition internally & externally, whilst also working across our Supermarket portfolios.

This is a varied role which relies on great communication across almost every Clear Channel team, collaborating with Marketing to Senior Management.


  • Proactively champion Digital formats across Malls & Supermarkets to increase awareness and generate demand.
  • Contribute to commercial targets through proactively selling Retail products in collaboration with Agency Sales and Trading Teams
  • Use client knowledge and product expertise to enhance Clear Channel share of revenue on media plans
  • Work with Retail team to plan and book below the line agency campaigns across Supermarket portfolios

Customer Engagement

  • Build and maintain client relationships covering key clients, agencies, and OOH agencies
  • Proactively present Malls content to key advertisers


  • Drive excellent communication and collaboration with the Agency Sales and Trading teams by being proactive, supportive and knowledgeable – challenging brief responses to include Retail products
  • Work closely with Portfolio, Insight and Marketing to build compelling sales content to support the Retail and wider Clear Channel proposition
  • Actively contribute to the ongoing development of our Retail proposition, including pricing and packaging


  • Be an expert across all Clear Channel Retail products
  • Drive Malls product knowledge amongst the wider Clear Channel teams to improve responses to briefs
  • Actively contribute to the evolving Clear Channel retail media proposition

What we’re looking for

  • Understanding of Clear Channel as a business and the broader media market
  • Media sales experience with knowledge of the OOH market
  • Confidence in presenting media solutions to brands
  • Customer focused with excellent communication skills that allow the development of strong relationships internally & externally
  • Ability to confidently prioritise a constantly developing workload
  • Highly numerical with the ability to analyse and draw conclusions from data
  • Strong commercial awareness particularly within the context of upselling and cross selling within OOH
