Description

Hybrid – Minimum 2 days on site in London, Tower Bridge HQ

At Houseful, we’re here to help everyone make intelligent decisions about their home

Do the best work of your life!

Houseful is home to trusted brands Zoopla, Alto, Hometrack, Calcasa, Mojo and Prime location. Together were creating the connections that power better property decisions, by unlocking the combined strength of software, data and insight. We make moves with head and heart to achieve our big ambitions, and to drive progress in the property market. There’s never been a better time to join us.

Our Software business

Our software solutions connect businesses and consumers, powering more than half of all UK housing transactions each year.

We deliver a one-stop shop for estate agents and home builders to drive efficiencies, speed up the transaction while reducing risk, improve end-customer experiences, stay ahead of regulatory changes and unlock new areas for business growth.

Our open APIs integrate with other platforms across lending, conveyancing and prop-tech providers, enabling us to power end-to-end property transactions and unlock a wide range of benefits for the wider industry and their customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with Product Leadership to inform decisions and shape product strategy through data. Our Software Business Unit has many products and ambitious commercial projects in progress and you will understand the wider Commercial context and support Product Managers to most effectively dedicate their teams resources across these initiatives. This will involve highly collaborative work across cross-functional teams within Product (UX, Engineers etc.) and beyond Product (Sales, Marketing, Data Engineering etc.)
  • Develop Products-specific reporting working collaboratively with Product Leadership to determine priorities. This includes KPI reporting, customer feature usage reporting and trends, user behaviour analysis, A/B experimentation design and results and insights to enable product team allocation of resources.
  • Manage another Data Analyst and support their professional development
  • Own the product analytics framework, creating the measurement & tracking plan for capturing the right data, and defining the metrics and methodology to build our understanding of our users’ behaviour. Collaborate with Central Analytics and Data Engineering on further database requirements for your stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Significant experience working with Product teams as an Analyst, with demonstrable examples of how you have understood the wider Commercial context and worked cross-functionally to enable KPI reporting, strategic decision making and shaped product strategy through data
  • Experience working with Senior stakeholders, and exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing, including creating presentations that clearly convey your key messages. You are adept at building relationships across an organisation (Engineers, Product teams, Marketing etc.) and are respected for your clear insights and decision making skills and are effectively able to inform and influence others
  • Experience of Management formally or informally, including goal-setting, peer reviews and coaching skills. You are adept at prioritising both for yourself and others, and enabling other stakeholders to sense-check and influence those priorities
  • Professional experience using an advanced level of SQL to manipulate large data sets (transactions, complex joins, CTEs, window functions)
  • Proficiency with Tableau or other data visualization tools such as PowerBI
  • Experience using Python, APIs or other tools to automate and clean up fragrented data sets is a plus – as is experience with A/B testing
  • Python, dbt and git experience would be a great bonus

Things that matter to us:

  • You are curious at heart and like to take ownership of something to make it better
  • You are detail-oriented
  • You are a team player and communicate with your peers and other stakeholders in the company on a day to day basis

We want to make Houseful more welcoming, fair and representative every day. We’ll consider everyone who applies for this role in the same way, regardless of your ethnicity, colour, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, age, physical disability, neurodiversity status, family or parental status, or how long you’ve spent unemployed. We’re reimagining the property industry for everyone, so we want our team to represent people from all walks of life. We actively welcome your application if your demographics or background are underrepresented in the technology or property sectors.
