Job Description

About Us:

Maneuver Marketing is dedicated to building, operating and scaling brands.

In the last 5 years, we grew our own health and wellness brand from $0 to USD$160M in annual revenue, serving more than 2,000,000 customers worldwide. Our brand’s success is driven by our commitment to providing high-quality health products. This result has brought us recognition by The Financial Times, ranking us 12th among Asia Pacific’s High-Growth Companies in 2023. The Straits Times and Statista also ranked us 4th in 2023 and 7th in 2024 among the fastest-growing companies in Singapore.

The brand is a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to promoting health and wellness through high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences. We believe in empowering our customers to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.

One pillar of our early growth has been the “Tech Stack” we have built, maintained, and grown for our business. From the software we leverage to the platforms we integrate, every component plays a crucial role in supporting the thousands of orders we process daily from customers worldwide.

As we continue towards our vision of building a billion-dollar portfolio of brands and products, our ability to build on these foundations and behaviors will be crucial. We recognize that at its core, e-commerce is as much about software and platforms as it is about products and branding.

The Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Devops Engineer with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and multitasking. In this critical role, you’ll drive the operation and evolution of our tech stack, ensuring high uptime and operational efficiency to support our expanding business.

  • Tech Stack Management: Set up, configure, and maintain our tech stack including Shopify and various applications and platforms such as Braintree, PayPal, Stripe, Klaviyo, Zendesk, and more.
  • System Integration: Ensure seamless data flow by integrating the e-commerce platform with external systems like payment gateways and shipping providers.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and solve technical issues related to the e-commerce platform and related integrations. Selenium automation experience and Zendesk troubleshooting skills are a plus.
  • Performance Optimization: Regularly monitor the platform’s stability and performance, making data-backed suggestions for system efficiency and user experience enhancements. Problem-solving skills are essential to tackle various issues efficiently.
  • Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect the e-commerce website and customer data, including experience with access rights management.
  • Team Support: Provide timely technical assistance to internal team members and manage user access and permissions.
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and share knowledge with team members for effective collaboration.
  • Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance platform features, security, and workflows. Experience in Shopify and coding, including Python and C++/machine language programming, is beneficial for automating reports, systems, and processes.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Devops or Systems Engineer role, or a similar capacity, primarily focusing on the management of e-commerce stores on Shopify or similar platforms.
  • Expertise in Shopify features, APIs, themes, checkout, analytics, apps, and integrations.
  • Experience integrating third-party applications and Pixel configuration for tracking.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, DNS, SSL, CDN) and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with Zendesk administration, including ticket management, automations, triggers, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements in the e-commerce domain (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Problem-solving skills are a must, given the diverse range of issues encountered daily.
