We’re looking for a talented senior digital strategist to join our team to help drive our next phase of growth here at 7DOTS.

We will look to you to bring experience collaborating with cross functional senior teams, leading and delivering best in class digital strategies for clients.

We are looking for a relationship-driver to grow existing clients and new business revenues as well as improve the profile and reputation of the agency as an innovative strategy partner within the category.

Your mindset is curious, you’re a problem solver who transcends the space between culture, creativity, and technology to deliver great work that works, staying abreast of the latest digital trends, innovations, and best practices.


Establish and maintain strong trusted client relationships and ensure we are seen as valuable strategic partners at all levels, but especially in the C Suite.

Become an invaluable partner to our clients by understanding their sector and business better than they do, identifying opportunities and offering collaborative solutions.

Interrogate client briefs and recommend solutions to the client based on their business challenges, specific requirements, and resources. You translate those requirements to create actionable briefs for the agency.

Work with the wider team to develop and execute robust and innovative digital strategies that move the dial for our clients helping to scope, plan and execute those projects and programmes.

Be the strategic silver thread on all projects ensuring that the defined strategy is executed brilliantly from creative and design to development to execution and in market activation.

Plan, organise and manage market research identifying consumer trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging digital and technological advancements. Analyse and synthesise data into actionable insights that inform strategic decision making.

Implement people first thinking through robust segmentations, persona development and audience insights.

Plan, moderate, and manage engaging and productive workshops creating actionable insight and outputs that drive business value.

Working with the Client Experience team to devise strategic objectives and plans for each client, execute them brilliantly, and grow existing accounts.

Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to acquire new clients. Participate in pitches and presentations to showcase the agency’s strategic capabilities.

Represent the agency as a thought leader in the digital marketing industry. Speaking at conferences, writing articles, and participating in industry forums to share insights and expertise. Creating a deep network of contacts for various purposes.

Planning team growth. With the support of other directors, you are required to establish the need for new recruits within the strategy team and ensure there is a robust onboarding and training process.

Inspire the wider agency team sharing inspiring work, research, and insights both formally and informally. Encourage a culture of curiosity and continuous learning. Providing mentorship and guidance to help people grow their understanding, skills, and expertise.

Experience, knowledge and expertise required with Customer Experience (websites, apps and platforms):

  • Digital audits, needs assessment and solution identification.
  • Digital vision and principles creation.
  • UJ mapping, UX, IA and Wireframes.
  • Technology assessment and definition (working closely with tech team.
  • Digital roadmap creation.
  • Digital design briefs and briefings.
  • Performance measurement and optimisation.
  • Digital accessibility and inclusion (sustainability).

Experience and knowledge within Digital Marketing (campaigns, always on, paid, organic, social, programmatic and CRM) desired but not essential:

  • Marketing planning including audience segmentation, messaging, channel, content, distribution, and measurement.
  • Creative brief development, inspiring briefings, and strategic and creative guidance through the whole process.
  • Measurement / KPIs, measure what matters and reporting actionable insights.
