We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Product Marketing to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our product marketing roadmap aimed at growing our key lines of business while identifying areas for future growth. The ideal candidate for this position will have an excellent knowledge of plant-based eating with a demonstrated ability to take quantitative and qualitative customer insights to market with strong product positioning. This role will work closely with culinary, tech, and marketing teams to test and validate that positioning and take it to market.


  • Purple Carrot HQ is in Needham, MA and prefers local candidates to work in a hybrid model. Alternative location is in the Chicago area which is close to one of our partner sites.

On the Plate

  • Build and drive the product marketing roadmap for Purple Carrot’s key lines of business
  • Match the Purple Carrot menu, and product lines, with quantifiable consumer preferences
  • Develop a deep understanding of our target customer and their needs 
  • Improve the positioning of existing products and meals, and identify areas to test expansion and evolution
  • Partner with channel owners on campaigns to drive product growth from new and existing customers

Main Ingredients for the Role

  • 5-8 years of product marketing experience in D2C/ecommerce environment
  • Experience using quantitative and qualitative insights to clearly articulate product strategy
  • Customer-centric mindset and familiarity with marketing KPIs such as CAC, LTV, and other behavioral metrics
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills – ability to work across the organization to execute and drive results
