WANTABLE, PRIVATE BRANDS and WANTABLE CAFE

MISSION:

Enhance the social media presence and reputation of Wantable Private Brands specifically on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, aligning with business priorities to dramatically elevate social program KPIs.

Job Description:

The Social Media & Content Specialist will be responsible for crafting, developing, and executing highly engaging social content tailored specifically for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, consistent content while actively engaging with the brand’s online community. The specialist manager will oversee the content calendar, manage direct interactions with the audience, create posts and content, and coordinate with various teams to align all content with the brand’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with Social Team Lead, maintain the content calendar for all brands, ensuring the timely and strategic release of content to boost awareness, engagement and brand awareness. (within provided brand guidelines)
  • Collaborate with the Social Media & Strategy Lead to align content strategies with broader social media goals.
  • Create the social media content calendar per the Direction of the Social Team Lead, ensuring strategic planning and precise goal setting for each platform.
  • Create and distribute engaging multimedia content, such as IG reels, IG Stories, posts, TikToks, IGTV videos, organic YouTube content and live event coverage.
  • Content can be created by the person in this role using tools of their choice or using Wantable’s preferred tools such as Canva, Capcut, Native platforms, etc. There is also a library of assets the person in this role will have access that should be utilized where possible.
  • Manage and collaborate daily operations on social media platforms, including posting and interacting with the audience.
  • Provide input and recommendations for creator and model management for photo and video shoots where applicable. Partner with the photo team producer to accomplish goals efficiently.
  • Monitor social media and content performance metrics, using insights to optimize future content.
  • Be the liaison and primary point of contact for community management. Respond to comments and messages to assist as needed.

Expected Outcomes for this position:

  • Consistent daily posts regularly across the brand channels following platform and industry best practices.
  • Target a minimum of 7 posts/content/re-posts per day per brand
  •  Achieve a significant increase in social engagement metrics (targeting an engagement rate of 1.25% or higher and over 1500 reels views per reel. Bonus points if it reaches over 10K)
  • Grow organic followers by 10% on Instagram and TikTok month over month.

Requirements

  • Located in the Milwaukee area with transportation to get to/from the HQ, photo studio, and any other “location” sets locally as needed – sometimes on short notice.
  • Proven experience in managing high-impact social media campaigns specifically on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
  • Proficiency in digital content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Capcut and/or video editing software.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively, be flexible and nimble, and produce significant outputs quickly.

Skills:

Content Creation:

  • Expertise in creating visually appealing content that reflects the latest fashion trends and brand aesthetics.
  • Ability to create personalized, engaging content that resonates with the diverse tastes and preferences of each unique brand’s customer base.
  • Proficiency in photo and video editing tools that highlight product details, styling tips and other brand stories.

Brand-Specific Strategic Planning:

  • Skill in developing social media strategies that enhance customer engagement and drive email/SMS collection and new followers.
  • Experience in leveraging user-generated content campaigns to foster community and increase brand loyalty.
  • Knowledge of promotional strategies that can effectively introduce new collections or features to the audience.

Analytics:

  • Ability to track and analyze key performance indicators specific to each brand such as engagement rates, conversion rates, SMS and Email collection, and return on investment (ROI) for social campaigns

Platform Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of platforms that are highly visual and popular among fashion and apparel consumers, such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok.
  • Skill in leveraging Instagram features, like Stories, Shopping, automated DM’s and rich pins, to drive sales and engagement.

Engagement and Customer Relationship Management:

  • Strong customer service skills to manage interactions on social platforms, including responding to queries, complaints, and comments promptly and effectively.
  • Ability to create a community feel by encouraging and moderating discussions around fashion and style.

Creative Campaigns and Collaboration:

  • Experience in collaborating with fashion influencers and bloggers to expand brand reach and authenticity.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in collaborating with our internal product development and merchandising teams to track new product drops, BTS stories, market visits, specials for the cafe, etc.
  • Ability to brainstorm and execute creative, thematic campaigns that align with seasonal fashion cycles for each brand and the Cafe.

SEO, CRO and E-commerce Integration:

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices tailored to retail/DTC/e-commerce and how they integrate with social media to drive traffic to the brand’s site.
  • Understanding of the synergy between social media and e-commerce platforms to enhance online shopping experiences.

Adaptability in the Fashion Retail Space:

    • Quick adaptation to changing fashion trends and consumer preferences.
    • Capacity to implement rapid changes in strategy based on new products, customer feedback, or market demands.
    • Quick reaction to jump on big pop culture moments for relevancy.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of direct hands-on experience in social media management, preferably with brands that have over 100K followers on the aforementioned platforms.
  • Demonstrable ability to create visually appealing and effective multimedia content.
  • Available to work in Milwaukee; this position is not eligible for 100% remote work. Thursday’s are a mandatory 9-5PM at HQ and full use of Photo Studio content and product is acceptable.

This role reports to the CMO / Social Media Team Lead.
