We are looking for a social media and content creation expert to join our digital marketing team. An excellent communicator with a passion for storytelling through words, imagery, and video. Someone who excels at creating, sharing and repurposing content that is inspiring and engaging. Someone with a proven track record of growing social channels and building community.

You will plan, execute, and track our social media, content, and partnership strategies. Your goal will be to grow our social community and increase brand awareness, credibility, and audience engagement.

To succeed, you must have a deep understanding of the current social landscape and trends. You must be a strong strategic planner and a relentless day-to-day executor. You must be resourceful and creative while delivering effective and engaging content.

What you’ll do to be successful in this role…

  • Increase brand awareness and customer engagement while growing our social media community
  • Lead and own the social media and content creation strategy, planning, and execution
  • Day-to-day social media management including campaign executions and new product support
  • Build trust, nurture community and foster discussion by engaging with users on social media
  • Develop engaging on-brand content to tell our brand/product story
  • Track and analyze social media performance, and generate insights to inform social strategies
  • Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with influencers/ambassadors
  • Seed products to influencers/ambassadors to collect UGC and product reviews
  • Stay up to date with home décor and decorating trends

Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • 4+ years of social media management, strategy development and campaign planning experience
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with an ability to collaborate and influence
  • Skilled copywriter able to use social media to connect, inspire, and motivate our target audience
  • Experience using social posting programs and influencer marketing platforms
  • Graphic design skills – ability to create and adapt graphics for social media posts
  • Video and photo editing skills – proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong visual aptitude and an eye for design aesthetic is an asset
