Lead and integrate Wantable’s influencer relations, affiliate programs, and social media content strategies across all digital platforms to elevate brand visibility, engagement, and conversions in alignment with strategic business priorities.

Job Description:

The Social Media & Partnerships Team Lead at Wantable oversees the entire social media team, setting comprehensive strategies for all brands, including a cafe. This seasoned leader will analyze social media engagement, develop targeted campaigns, strategically utilize UGC and partnerships, and enhance brand presence. The ideal candidate is an expert content creator with a strong aesthetic sense, up-to-date on pop culture and fashion trends, and understands branding principles. They must quickly generate content as needed and ensure all marketing efforts are unified across the company.


Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Develop a comprehensive digital strategy encompassing influencer partnerships, affiliate programs, and social media content that aligns with the overarching brand and business goals.
  • Maintain a holistic view of the social media landscape, ensuring consistent and impactful brand presence across all platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.

Partnership Management:

  • Lead the recruitment, management, and optimization of influencer relations and affiliate partnerships to maximize ROI and enhance brand visibility.
  • Negotiate contracts and collaborate terms, maintaining a network of high-impact partnerships.

Content Leadership:

  • Oversee the creation and execution of engaging multimedia content across all social media channels, ensuring it meets brand standards and appeals to target demographics.
  • Direct the strategic use of user-generated content, leveraging community contributions to enhance authenticity and engagement.

Analytics and Performance Measurement:

  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics across influencer campaigns, affiliate programs, and social media outputs. Use insights to continually refine strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Report on KPIs and ROI to senior management, providing actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights.

Team Management and Collaboration:

  • Lead a team of social media, content, and influencer and affiliate coordinator; mentor and develop staff to achieve excellent performance and career growth.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Creative, and Product Development teams to ensure a unified approach to brand messaging and promotions.

Community and Customer Interaction:

  • Enhance the brand’s community interaction on social platforms, ensuring positive engagement and timely response to customer inquiries and feedback.
  • Implement strategies for community growth and engagement, fostering a loyal customer base.

Expected Outcomes for this position:

  • Achieve a measurable increase in engagement metrics across all platforms.
  • Grow affiliate sales and influencer campaign reach with demonstrable improvements month over month.
  • Ensure high-quality, consistent brand messaging and content across all digital media.


  • Located in the Milwaukee area with transportation to get to/from the HQ, photo studio, and any other “location” sets locally as needed – sometimes on short notice.
  • Available to work in Milwaukee; this position is not eligible for 100% remote work. Thursday’s are a mandatory 9-5 PM at HQ and full use of Photo Studio content and product is acceptable.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record in managing high-impact social media campaigns and partnership development.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in digital content creation tools and platforms, with an emphasis on visual content suited for fashion brands.
  • Proficiency in digital content creation and social media management tools.
  • Experienced and savvy in Google Sheets, Excel, reporting, influencer platforms, social media platforms and analytic tools are a must.
  • Must have a personal presence and regular use of social platforms.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills in collaborating with our internal product development and merchandising teams to track new product drops, BTS stories, market visits, specials for the Cafe, etc.
  • Ability to brainstorm and execute creative, thematic campaigns that align with seasonal fashion cycles for each brand and the Cafe.

Leadership and Team Management: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and lead a diverse team of marketing professionals. Capable of fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Partnership Development: Strong negotiation skills with a track record of establishing and maintaining fruitful relationships with influencers, affiliates, and other partners.

Content Mastery: Expertise in curating and managing high-quality, engaging content across various digital platforms, tailored to diverse audience segments.

Analytical Skills: Proficient in utilizing analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics. Capable of translating data into actionable insights.

  • Ability to track and analyze key performance indicators specific to each brand such as engagement rates and return on investment (ROI) for influencer and affiliate programs and campaigns.

Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the market and adjust strategies in real-time to capitalize on emerging trends.

Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role. Ability to convey complex strategies to a variety of stakeholders, from team members to executive leadership.

Digital Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of the latest digital marketing tools and platforms, including proficiency in content creation tools and familiarity with SEO and e-commerce integration.

  • Deep understanding of platforms that are highly visual and popular among fashion and apparel consumers, such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok.
  • Skill in leveraging Instagram features, like Stories, Shopping, automated DM’s and rich pins, to drive sales and engagement.

Brand Management: Ability to understand what is required to maintain and build a strong brand identity that aligns with the company’s values and resonates with customers.

Budget Management:

  • Manage a budget efficiently, allocating resources to the most effective channels and campaigns and adjusting for profitability or other key ROI targets.
  • Understand how to track expenses and ensure ROI on marketing spend
  • Ability to comprehend the correlation between expenditures and Wantable’s overall Profit and Loss statement.

E-commerce Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends, technologies, and industry best practices.

Regulatory Compliance: Awareness of and adherence to e-commerce industry regulations and data privacy laws.

Negotiation skills: Must possess a fierce negation style, understand how vendors negotiate and can get the best price for products and services.

This role reports to the CMO.
